Bo was starting to get used to the feelings of the hunger that couldn't quite be satiated by Sam or Molly or both combined. She was also well aware that they seemed to be coming more frequently as the weeks progressed and Bo was going to venture a guess it wasn't a good sign. Still, she pushed those thoughts deep down inside because they weren't useful and screw the Fae and their stupid traditions.

She made her way to Loki's room. He hadn't been at the clinic, so she had to hope he was there. She was just about to knock when the door opened.

Bo's body responded to Loki's mouth with practically every fiber of her being. Her hips rolled up, body writhed, the the sounds she made were wanton.

Valkyrie was nice to look at, and beyond that she was pleasant company, but Loki stilled for a second anyway, then shook his head. "You know I don't do that. She's sworn fealty to my brother, it's simply a good idea for me to avoid antagonizing her if I have a choice, at present."

"You're right. I forgot you don't have feelings." She turned a little and sent him a smile that was meant to show how she definitely didn't buy it.

"But if you did, she wouldn't be a terrible choice."

"Anyone would be a terrible choice." Loki turned a little as well, so they were facing each other. "I accepted a very long time ago that I'm not anyone's aim or ideal and never will be. If I ever made that kind of mistake, it would only be embarrassing and unpleasant for me. So I don't do it."

For a brief moment a look crossed her face that might have given away that in another life he could possible be such an ideal. It wasn't the first time Bo was drawn into Dark Fae territory. Besides, she thought Loki was pleasant to be around which usually meant the person had some endearing qualities.

She also knew his type and admitting such a thing was beyond question. "So you're saying you would say no if she wanted to sleep with you then." At least talking about physical contact was often a safer bet.

"Not at all. I enjoy sex, as you well know." And there was something, at least a slight something. Valkyrie seemed to enjoy physical violence on him as much as he'd enjoyed it, but that could well be just violence, without any crossover into sex. "That has nothing to do with anything."

"I don't think you're giving yourself enough credit." She shifted so she was up on one hand, elbow propping her head up. "Your brother might have the muscles, but you have the brains. Didn't you hear?" She leaned in just a little, playful. "Nerds are the new sexy." She winked, leaning in just to land a friendly kiss on his nose before rolling up and out of the bed.

"What if she likes you?"

“She’s Asgardian.” It felt like solid reasoning. A lazily gestured spell piled Bo’s clothes together for ease of collection, then he sat up to watch her without any particular desire to move otherwise. Quite yet. “We may, and I think do, find each other entertaining. But no more. I’m old enough to know these things, Bo.”

"You people who are hundreds of years old always think you know everything." She shot him a playfully defiant smile then bent over to collect her panties and leather pants - she couldn't quite help herself but to give Loki a little show

“I certainly know myself better.” And probably things in general, but that was an unnecessary argument, especially with Bo to appreciate. “If you’re inclined to matchmake, don’t. I’m content enough with things as they are.”

She laughed on an exhale. "I'm definitely not the person to ask about healthy relationships. Back home I killed my first boyfriend, my second one gave up his love for me to a Norn, and then I killed my ex-girlfriend's to girlfriend because she was possessed by evil. So if you don't want to be tied down, I get it." She took a little longer to put her top back on.

"I'm just saying, you're definitely not the worst choice in the world. Trust me. And I think you could make the right someone happy."

“You are of course free to think whatever you please.” His tone was good-humored, not prickly: possibly a result of getting laid, possibly due to fondness for Bo, possibly both. “I’ll continue to believe that some people are intended for solitude.”

"As long as those people who are intended for solitude will put up with the occasional pesky Succubus coming around to chat, then I'll let you believe whatever you want." Bo had every intention of maintaining a friendship with Loki even after she passed her Dawning.

“Deal.” Odds were, in Loki’s view, that once the Dawning was behind her, assuming she survived, her Sam would forbid contact with the ex-food lest... something. Who knew. But there was no harm in agreeing in principle, so he did.

Clothed, she turned to Loki and this time it was she who admired him. Bo had a good appreciation of the naked body in most its forms.

"Should I go find your friend to tell her it's safe to come back?" She waggled her eyebrows playfully.

“Find her if you want to, but I expect she’ll stay away for some time no matter what you say.” Valkyrie seemed the type to abide by better safe than sorry, at least where the possibility of sudden revolting sights was concerned.

It was a good excuse to leave, at any rate. The more she looked at Loki, the more she thought maybe she should stay and they could have some more fun, but she had promised Sam - strictly business. She wasn't hungry anymore so anything more would be indulging. Still, she did let her eyes wander over his body without hiding the fact she was doing it before her gaze reached his eyes.

"Try not to be a stranger at the bar, will you? I need good conversation from time to time."
