I guess it doesn't matter how. Loki, listen, take it from someone who can't seem to have an uncomplicated relationship, it's still worth it. Even when it hurts - and I've been hurt a lot - I'd rather that than ultimately be alone.

I don’t think it can be. Worth it, that is. I don’t manage strong emotion well, historically speaking. Last time I felt anything I might describe as a broken heart, I tried to destroy an entire world and then commit suicide. As a start.

And yet I’m stuck with it now, apparently. I don’t think I could make myself stop even if I tried.

At the risk of having you roll your eyes at the text, I think it's about time you get some happiness, so if you already realized you're screwed, then you might as well enjoy the ride while you can. Let your brother and I deal with the fall out if there is any
